Project overview
As part of J.P. Morgan’s transformation to a modern client-management platform, I led the UX design effort to simplify regulated processes while improving access to client information. The work required close partnership with advisors, operations, business stakeholders, compliance, governance, and technology teams.
The challenge
The work
Partnered with business teams to identify core user needs and connect them to the bank’s strategic, compliance, and control requirements.
Defined clearer navigation and relationships so advisors and support staff could reach the right client information and task faster.
Designed workflows that balanced dense financial information and regulatory requirements with clarity, feedback, and predictable next steps.
Created user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes, then led usability studies and stakeholder reviews to validate concepts early and reduce rework.
Worked with product and engineering through Agile sprints, refining designs as technical and business decisions evolved.
Outcome
The new platform gave advisors a clearer, more efficient way to find client information and complete regulated work. It reduced search friction, supported adoption, and established a flexible foundation for future integration and feature growth.
